The Dating Story is produced by Banyan Productions of Trading Spaces fame. They take a couple and send them on an exciting date to see if it is a love connection. The producers knew this was simply the most exciting date they had filmed with the couple trying the Powerski Jetboard for the first time on the shores of Maui. |

Powerski Maui's Ed Suzuki kept the crew in stitches and Holly couldn't wait to ride.

The original shoot location in front of the Kaanapali Beach Hotel at Black Rock was moved the morning of shoot, but thanks to Nelson Armitage the producer was able to lock in a location at Kanaha Beach. The crew, consisting of David Lajoie, Shawn Chait and Todd Lindquist along with Ed & Kai Suzuki, Turtle and Nelson, did an incredible job of setting up the set with the Jetboards Maui banner printed off the Hewlett Packard Designjet 5500 and designed the Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator. The couple included Maui kite surfer, Bogie and Maui surfer, Holly. It was apparent there was no love connection here but they both rode strong, even though by the time they got in the water it had gotten pretty choppy. They were put out into the surf at Kanaha for their first time rides. Bogie couldn't stop talking about how he wanted to sell the boards in the islands. Ed Suzuki of Powerski Maui would be the man to talk to as he will be handling the sales on the island.
