Production Ramps Up at PowerSki's San Clemente Facility

Over the past several months Powerski International Corp. has been aggressively ramping up and preparing the facilities at the San Clemente, CA headquarters for mass assembly of the PowerSki Jetboard™ Igniter 360™. This model will incorporate the new SuperTorque XT™ marine engine at 362cc of pure pulsating power. These newly named models will also feature the new state of the art electrical system and many other new components that will now be ready for distribution to the world market.

For several months, PowerSki has been purchasing and receiving board components in the hundreds. While at the same time the assembly line has been developed for optimal speed and quality control. This strategy has positioned PSI to continue their low rate production while the assembly system is refined. At present PSI has been accumulating 100's of fuel tanks, pumps, handles, carbarauters, snorkels, and other associated components to begin the new assembly processes.

From laying in the DieCast engine from Daesung Fine Tec, Korea to installing the PowerThruster™ Jet pump, 15 boards a day... No Problem!!

Assembly line development has commenced at PSI headquarters with the addition of individual assembly stations designed to assemble each board in one eight hour period. The initial design incorporates five stations working in a controlled system that allows each board to be checked for quality assurance after each rotation. Timing runs are under way to complete the final layout design. The facility is now designed to compliment up to three parallel lines of production that will allow the completion of five jetboards per day from each individual line. This translates into fifteen boards per day, seventy-five boards per week and three hundred boards per month from one eight hour shift schedule.
