PowerSki International
Signs Multiple Distributor Agreements.
SAN CLEMENTE, Calif.
(BUSINESS WIRE)—July 19, 2004- PowerSki
International
Corporation (PSI) announced today that it has signed distributor
agreements for Australia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Austria.
These four countries will be added to PSI’s Global Distributor
Network that brings the total number of countries to 63. PSI’s
growth is ever increasing at a rapid rate. With worldwide media
exposure at a record high and the launch of the production Igniter
330 PowerSki JetBoard. Global interest is taking a stronger look
on how securing an exclusive distributorship agreement offering
the PowerSki JetBoard and additional accessories, could be a
long-term lucrative business opportunity.
The exclusive distribution rights for one of the most sought
out countries was finalized last Wednesday on the shores of
Fiesta Island at San Diego’s Mission Bay during the last
day of a 2 day taping of Gillette World Sports that will be
seen by 300 million households in 250 countries which will
air later this summer. Drew Gitlin of Brentwood, Ca., participated
in the taping by conducting an interview regarding his JetBoarding
experiences and how he and his partner Brian Wronski of United
Kingdom sought after the exclusive distribution rights for
Australia. Brian had previously visited PSI several weeks ago
along with Drew and also had the opportunity to try the Igniter
330 first hand. Australian distribution rights means a significant
partnership with PSI as its the largest market that specifically
supports the sideways stance and surfing. This territory takes
a strong commitment to PSI to which Brian and Drew stepped
up and made. PSI will also be working side by side with PowerSki
Australia in developing marketing tools and network integration
development.
The PSI website is receiving increasing demand for exclusive
distributorships and as the top distribution markets are claimed,
current distributors are coming forward and taking additional
countries surrounding their exclusive territories. Gabor Bojko,
PowerSki Hungary stated, “I have seen how everyone wants
this product and how excited they get at all the events, and
so we are expanding our territory.” PowerSki Hungry
secured the exclusive rights to distribute the PowerSki JetBoard
in three additional countries, which are Austria, Czech Republic,
and Slovakia. Gabor spent the week at PSI’s corporate
offices in San Clemente, Ca., reviewing the production Igniter
330 PowerSki Jetboard and the improvements made. “I am
really impressed with the Igniter 330 PowerSki JetBoard and
how PTC’s Pro/EGINEER Wildfire puts all the components
together in virtual space, “ says Gabor. Leo Greene,
Vice President of Engineering took Gabor on a virtual tour
through the hundreds of drawings of the PowerSki JetBoard and
watched in amazement as Leo then combined them into an assembly
drawing. Leo then stated, “HP provides us with all the
necessary hardware configurations and horsepower using the
Xw8000 Workstations that will render in real-time allowing
for an immediate preview.”
