 Chad
Montgomery grew up locally, here in the quaint
little surf town, San Clemente, California.
He is one of Bob Montgomery's, Inventor,
CEO and Founder of PowerSki International Corporation,
who has 4 sons and 1 daughter. So you could say that Chad
grew up his entire life around water.. waves.. surfboards...
and motors.... motors??
It would only be a natural that this 18
yr old, 3 time national champion
with his surf team from San Clemente High School
to which he just recently graduated from
last year in 2004.
We asked Chad what he thinks of the patented
PowerSki Jetboard™ Igniter 330™,
his reply wasn't very surprising, "loves riding
the Powerskiis". You could say that Chad has
been riding motorized s urfboards
I think before he could even walk. His Dad sure made sure
that Chad would definitely be part of his dream.

cruising and ripping through
the sweet waters of the world aboard
what they call, "The Fiberglass
Rocketship". |
 From
the very first days
of riding the SurfJet to now shredding
on the Igniter 330™, Chad has taken
what his father taught him to a whole
new level. Can you believe it?? They're
actually trying out new tricks in freestyling.
You should see some of the maneuvers
he goes through.
Chad is definitely making a name for himself in the surfing
community as well. He is competing in the National
Scholastic Surfing Association (NSSA), and also
local events. Here's how he's placed.

- 3rd Place Manhattan Beach, CA 2003
- 1st Place at Seafest, San Clemente, CA 2003
- 2nd Place at Oceanside, CA 2002

Chad's
impressive performance has gotten the
attention of several sponsors, Amerikan
Clothing and Kaysen Surfboards.
As
you can see, Chad is styling all his own.. we have not
seen anyone ride the Igniter as he does...
to take a G-Force Turn and to be completely
extended just millimeters above the water's
surface is truly phenomenal. Its a pleasure
to watch G-Force turn after G-Force
turn, maneuvering the jetboard as though it was
his private chariot. Full control at
top speed and just drops it in
to rip a G-Force turn that's tight,
smooth, and laid out.
Chad Montgomery is definitely Team Powerski.
